The High Impact Floor Tile – Hygiene Coated Easy Clip Install by 1818 Fitness is designed for training environments where surface stability, impact management, hygiene, and installation flexibility are important. Suitable for home gyms, commercial gyms, combat sports facilities, rehabilitation spaces, schools, fitness studios, and general training areas.
Available in 1.5cm, 2cm, and 3.5cm thickness options, the flooring can be selected according to training requirements and impact levels. The 2cm and 3.5cm variants incorporate integrated connector channels that allow adjacent tiles to be mechanically joined using compatible connectors. This creates a stable and aligned training surface without requiring permanent adhesive installation.
Unlike flooring systems that rely exclusively on glue, the connector-compatible design allows flooring layouts to be expanded, repositioned, partially replaced, or relocated as training requirements change. This makes the system suitable for both permanent and evolving training spaces. Connectors are sold separately.
The flooring is engineered to absorb and disperse impact forces generated during repetitive movement such as skipping, footwork drills, plyometric exercises, bodyweight conditioning, and general fitness training. By reducing peak force transfer through the training surface, the flooring helps create a more comfortable training environment for users of different ages, experience levels, and training intensities.
The density of the rubber compound also assists in reducing vibration and noise transmission. This makes the flooring suitable for indoor training spaces, garage gyms, apartment fitness rooms, shared facilities, and commercial environments where sound control is beneficial.
The hygiene-coated surface reduces porosity, helping limit moisture absorption from sweat and environmental exposure. This supports routine cleaning and maintenance while assisting in maintaining surface condition over time. The material is low VOC, non-toxic, and suitable for direct-contact exercises including stretching, mobility work, rehabilitation routines, core training, and floor-based fitness activities.
A textured underside increases friction against the subfloor, helping maintain stability during strength training, resistance exercises, kettlebell training, agility drills, and multi-directional movement. Combined with the mass of each tile, this helps reduce unwanted movement during use while supporting loose-lay, connector-based, or adhesive installation methods.
Constructed from high-density SBR rubber bonded with polyurethane adhesive, the flooring is designed to withstand repeated impact, sustained loading, and regular use. The material resists compression under load and helps maintain dimensional stability beneath exercise equipment, benches, racks, free weights, and functional training stations.
Connector compatibility applies to 2cm and 3.5cm tiles ONLY. Due to reduced material thickness, the 1.5cm variant does not support floor connectors and is best suited to loose-lay installations or smaller training areas where connector systems are not required.
